Fitness Requirements

Participants must possess the following:
• Ability to walk two to three kilometres over rough/rocky ground – requires excellent balance.
• Ability to climb in and out of high vehicles such as four-wheel drives, mini-buses and boats.
• Ability to climb up very steep steps into buildings.

Please consider that all of these criteria may need to be completed in hot, humid and sometimes wet conditions.

In addition to these requirements, good sturdy footwear is required to be worn eg runners, boots and sturdy sandals that are supportive and enclose most of the foot.
